Thank you for your interest in the National Black Theater Festival tour sponsored by Pathfinders Travel Magazine.
Every two years Winston-Salem, North Carolina becomes a city-wide Mecca of Black theater and the go-to place for theater enthusiasts!
Pathfinders will travel via deluxe motor coach from Philadelphia, on Wednesday, August 5 and will return on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
The tour includes 4 nights’ lodging/4-star hotel and daily breakfast. The plays are ala-cart and are an additional charge. Participants can select as few or as many plays as they wish to see. The average ticket price for plays in 2014 ranged from $25-$60.
The National Black Theater Festival is a leading champion of professional theater in the tradition of the legendary Black Theater Ensemble.
Currently, the 2015 plays are still being selected, but past performances have included original productions such as “Crowns” and “The Jackie Wilson Story”. Dozens of exciting plays are featured in venues throughout the city including serious, historical, and hand-clapping productions. Visitors have a chance to mingle with Hollywood actors who either star in the plays or attend one of the many parties in town.
The cost is $595 per person for double occupancy and the single supplement is $299. A NON-REFUNDABLE $125 deposit is due immediately to reserve space. The balance is payable in installments with a final payment due June 28, 2015.
